Permanent Part or Full-Time Residential Psychiatrist (Hybrid) in Oakland, CA

Our facility is seeking a residential psychiatrist to supply care in the surrounding areas of Oakland, CA. 

Setting: Acute & Long Term Care Facilities all over CA

Hours Needed: Min hours preferred is 24-40 hours per week.

Schedule: Flexible schedule, Monday- Friday. (No weekends). Provider can pick which days work best to do 8 hour days.

Assignment Type: Permanent 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Want someone with experience treating significant medical problems (experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing facility, Inpatient, is a plus). Someone with Geri experience/background is a plus!
• Licensed MD/DO in the State of California; ability to prescribe medication (required).
• Medicare Provider eligibility (required).
• Experience with Telepsych
• BC or Truly BE

The Psychiatrist will be given a list of patients they will see each day and for which facility. All notes on the patient would have been completed along with all information related to their history. Psychiatrist can expect to see about 15-18 patients per day.

Patient Population: Adult, Geri, Chronically ill patients

Beds Seen: 12-15

Average LOS: Long term stay patients
