Our facility is seeking remote inpatient psychiatrists to supply care in multiple states.
States with Urgent Needs: MO, CA, NC, VA, IL, FL, PA, NJ
Setting: Acute Care Setting- Inpatient Hospital telepsych coverage, all ages (as young as 12)
Hours Needed: Minimum of 16 hours, up to 40 hours per week available.
Schedule: Providers can pick their own shifts. (must be be between 4-12 hour days). They must also have a consistent schedule with the same day and times every week. This is not a PRN role.
The provider must also commit to 40 hours PER MONTH of night or weekend coverage. (Night coverage is from 12am-8am). They can be flexible what they look like.
Here's the weekend/overnight coverage monthly requirement:
40 hours minimum per month -
24 hours of weekend coverage and 16 hours of overnight to make up 40 hours total. They can have more than 24 hours of weekend coverage per month and less overnight coverage, but not less weekend coverage with more overnights. 7 on/off is also an option
Assignment Type: Permanent position only
Common Patient Diagnosis: Consistent with what psychiatrist will see in an ER/CL role.

Patient Population: Hospital ER Patients.
Beds Seen: Providers are assigned a certain amount of patients per day and are instructed to see as many as they can. If they do not complete, they will be passed to the next provider. Please note, the current providers are seeing about 2 patients per hour hour unless it's complicated.
Average Time with Patient: 30 mins to 1 hour depending on complexity.
