Full-time Psychiatrist opportunity providing psychiatric care to adult and geriatric patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. This role is ideal for providers with an inpatient mindset who enjoy working with medically complex and chronically ill patient populations in a collaborative care model.
Flexible Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week. Providers work onsite at skilled nursing facilities within a local service area, with no weekend or call responsibilities.
Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care
See approximately 15–20 patients per day
Care for adult and geriatric patients in skilled nursing and long-term care settings
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary behavioral health and medical team
Utilize streamlined documentation processes with administrative support
Active California medical license
Medicare provider eligibility required
Experience with telepsychiatry preferred
Experience in skilled nursing facilities, inpatient psychiatry, geriatrics, or medically complex patient populations is strongly preferred
Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients
