Position Overview
Locum opportunity for a Psychiatrist in an adult outpatient behavioral health setting. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluations, medication management, and ongoing follow-up for adults with a range of mental health conditions.
Schedule & Setting
In-person position with a flexible schedule of 32–40 hours per week, requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly. Standard clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No call responsibilities.
Patient Care
Providers manage a daily caseload of approximately 10–12 patients. Follow-up medication management visits are typically 15–30 minutes, with 60-minute initial evaluations.
Assignment Details
Locum tenens assignment with an initial duration of 6 months and the option to extend. Immediate start available for qualified candidates.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly compensation with malpractice coverage included. Travel and lodging support may be available for providers who require it.
Practice Environment
Work within a structured outpatient clinic supported by administrative and clinical staff, utilizing an established electronic medical record system. This role is ideal for providers seeking a consistent schedule and collaborative care environment.
