Our facility is seeking a residential child psychiatrist to supply care in the surrounding areas of Petaluma, CA.
Common Diagnoses: Substance use (most of the time its cannibus/nicotine addictions. Sometimes drugs like cocaine, fentynol, etc) Depression, anxiety, etc.
Setting: Residential
Hours: 30-40 hours
Schedule: Monday- Friday 9a- 5p
Assignment Type: Locum, but open to Permanent
Assignment Length: 6 months with the option to extend

Number of Beds– 28 total patients. Patients MUST be seen once every 7 days. They do prefer the provider to see patients during the day (from 9a-12p) and spend time in the afternoon calling parents, completing notes, doing med refills.
Please note- not all patients are on medications, most of the time it's a check in and can be a few mins.
Patient Population: 13-17 year old boys
Beds Seen: Flexible, must see all patients every 7 days.
Admissions/Day: 0-2
Discharges/Day: 0-1
Average LOS: a few months, depending on the individual treatment plan
