Locum Part-Time Outpatient C/A Psychiatrist in El Monte, CA

Our facility is seeking an outpatient child and adolescent psychiatrist to supply care in the surrounding areas of El Monte, CA. 

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Population: School age children up to 25 (most fall between ages 5-25)

Hours Needed: 10 hours to start, can increase with need

Schedule: Can work 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm

Assignment Type: Locum

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preference is for those that can speak Spanish 
  • Board Certification in general at least with a child and adolescent fellowship
  • Must be willing to go to both locations (no remote)
  • Must commit to at least 6 months with the option to extend

Details

Common Diagnoses: Depression, Schizoaffective disorder, major anxiety, ADD/ADHD, suicidal ideations. Please note, there are a few patients that will be seen who are in their IOP program and are a little more acute. Candidate must be aware and comfortable treating these patients.

Patients/Day: 10-12

Med Checks: 30 mins

Evals: 1-2 hours based on the need of the provider.
