Job Description

Position Overview
Full-time locum opportunity for a Psychiatrist with a focus on child and adolescent populations in an outpatient behavioral health setting. This role involves direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing follow-up for individuals with a range of mental health needs.

Schedule & Setting
Fully remote telehealth position requiring an active California license. Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Structured outpatient environment with no evening or alternative schedules.

Patient Care
Manage a daily caseload of approximately 12–15 patients. Appointment types include 30-minute medication management visits and 60–90 minute initial evaluations. Providers are expected to complete documentation in a timely manner, with an emphasis on concurrent charting during patient visits.

Assignment Details
Locum tenens assignment with an initial duration of 4–6 months and potential for extension. Expedited credentialing process allows for a start within a few weeks.

Qualifications
Board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist with an active California license. Experience in community mental health and telepsychiatry is preferred. Additional consideration given to fellowship training and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) providers.

Compensation & Support
Competitive hourly compensation with malpractice coverage included. Providers will work within an established clinical system and have access to administrative and clinical support resources.
