Remote Psychiatrist opportunity focused on supervising Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) providing care in skilled nursing and long-term care settings. This is a non-patient-facing leadership role ideal for psychiatrists interested in mentorship, clinical consultation, and advanced practice provider supervision.
Fully remote with a flexible schedule. Providers supervise up to four PMHNPs, with an estimated commitment of up to two hours per month per provider as the panel grows.
Provide clinical supervision and consultation to Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners
Conduct scheduled monthly video or phone meetings with supervisees
Review clinical documentation and provide feedback
Consult on non-urgent clinical cases
Support ongoing education and professional development of advanced practice providers
No direct patient care required
Active California MD or DO license with prescribing authority
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist
Experience with telepsychiatry preferred
Comfortable supervising Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners
