Locum Part-Time Outpatient Supervising Psychiatrist in Georgia (Remote)

Our facility is seeking an outpatient psychiatrist to supply care in the surrounding areas of Georgia. 

Info about Opening: 

Supervise up to 4 (four) GA licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (NPs). Very part time role. Great position to supplement a providers full time schedule. Not on call. The psychiatrist doesn’t have to make any changes to their medical licenses. Client will cover malpractice insurance.

• Supervise up to four GA licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
• Enjoy a flexible schedule-- availability for brief questions with our NPs (text, email, or phone calls) - estimated 2-4 hours per month per NP (totaling up to 8-10 hours per month)
• Sign off on Schedule II Med Administration and notes (estimated 15-30 mins per NP)
• They should generally be available to respond within a reasonable time frame for contacting the NP (no more than one week, but preferably sooner) to answer questions by phone or email, within reason.
• Additional meeting time with NPs is at the discretion of the supervisor (for example, monthly supervision meeting).
• The role can be performed entirely remotely and is a 1099 contract position that includes malpractice insurance.
• Supervisors will NOT be asked to prescribe any medications on behalf of the NPs as part of their supervision duties.
• No charting responsibilities. NO documentation or chart reviews required by MD supervisor; they will NOT see patients directly

Hours Needed: about 2 hours per month per NP

Assignment Length: at least 6mo with option to extend
