Part-time Locum Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist opportunity with a growing outpatient mental health practice. This position includes providing psychiatric care to primarily children and adolescents while supervising Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners in a collaborative behavioral health setting.
Flexible, very part-time schedule with the ability to work remotely, onsite, or a combination of both. The position will begin with a few hours per week and has the potential to increase to up to 8–10 hours weekly as the practice continues to grow.
Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management
See approximately 8–10 patients per day when scheduled
Supervise and provide clinical consultation to Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
Participate as the designated supervising psychiatrist/medical director for regulatory purposes as needed
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals
Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Active New York medical license
Medicare and Medicaid enrollment required
Comfortable supervising advanced practice providers
Experience treating pediatric and adolescent patients
Additional language skills are a plus
