Full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist opportunity with an academic medical center providing psychiatric care for adult patients. This role combines inpatient clinical practice with teaching and mentorship, offering the opportunity to work alongside residents and medical students in a collaborative learning environment.
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Permanent candidates are preferred, with long-term coverage opportunities available while the organization recruits for a permanent provider.
Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment
Manage approximately 8–12 inpatient beds with support from residents or advanced practice providers
Participate in admissions, treatment planning, and discharge planning
Supervise and mentor psychiatry residents and medical students
Participate in call coverage on a voluntary or shared basis as needed
Board Certified Psychiatrist
Interest in academic psychiatry and teaching
Strong collaborative and patient-centered approach to inpatient behavioral healthcare
