Full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist opportunity with a growing hospital-based behavioral health program serving geriatric patients. This role offers the opportunity to help expand an inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit while providing comprehensive psychiatric care for older adults with complex behavioral health needs.
Monday–Friday, full-time onsite schedule. Permanent candidates are preferred.
Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and medication management
Lead multidisciplinary treatment teams
Evaluate patients for psychiatric admission from the emergency department
Provide consultation services to medical teams
Care for geriatric patients with conditions including dementia, delirium, and late-life depression
Participate in a shared call rotation
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist (extensive experience may be considered)
Experience or interest in inpatient and geriatric psychiatry
Strong collaborative and patient-centered approach to care
