Locum Part-Time PMHNP in East Harlem, NY

Our facility is seeking a PMHNP to supply care in the surrounding areas of East Harlem, NY. 

Setting: Outpatient

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

• Provider can pick what day(s)/schedule they work
• Need to be onsite

Patient Population: 18 years-end of life

Hours Needed: 8-12/week

Assignment Type: Locum

Assignment Length: 3-6 months

Additional Requirements:

• Prior experience working with incarcerated patients in some capacity, and passion for this population
• Really important that the provider is aware of the challenges this population faces (and that many have prior trauma experience from psychiatric providers)
• NP's must be able to work independently without a collaborating physician - no new grads
• Must be willing to give injectables!!

Details: 

Patients/Day: Varies (they are just getting started so it's going to be a ramp up period to get a full schedule of patients in the clinic)

Med Checks: 1 hour

Evals: 30 mins
