Locum Full-Time Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist in Manhattan, NY

Our facility is seeking an inpatient psychiatrist to supply care in the surrounding areas of Manhattan, NY. 

Setting: Inpatient

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am- 5pm

Assignment Length:  6-9 months with the option to extend

Assignment Type: Locum

BC/BE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have one year of experience.
  
• Must be BC
  
• At least one-year post-residency experience required. Attending psychiatrist on a locked inpatient unit.
• Candidate would be expected to carry a caseload of 10-15 patients, with occasional admissions and discharges. 
• The position also includes standardized risk assessment evaluations, the running of medication education groups, and medical student teaching. 
  
• This is a fast-paced environment; comfort with electronic medical records and electronic communication is a must.
