Outpatient Bilingual C/A Psychiatrist (Hybrid) in Hempstead, NY

Our facility is seeking an outpatient child & adolescent psychiatrist to supply care in the surrounding areas of Hempstead, NY. 

Setting: Outpatient

Schedule: 

Clinic is open: 

Monday-Thursday 9am-8pm

Friday, Saturday 9am-4pm

• Provider can make their schedule within this range
• Important that provider can commit to a set schedule! 
• Minimum one day a week required to be on site

Patient Population: Children 5-18

Diagnoses: Behavioral issues ADHD, ODD, ADD, MDD, Anxiety, Self injury, self harm.

*Don't treat eating disorders - refer them out*

Hours Needed: Preference for 30+ hours over at least 2 days a week.

Assignment Type: Preference would be perm or locum to perm

Assignment Length: Minimum 6 months (preferably more)

• If locum to perm then flexible (1-3 months)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• BILINGUAL SPANISH SPEAKING 
• Experience working with C&A, or if a new grad, interest in this

Details: 

Patients/Day: 12-14 patients a day

Med Checks: 15-20 minutes

Evals: 90 min

• Average 3 evaluations a day
• 3-4 15-20 minute breaks are scheduled in daily for notes, admin, etc
