Part-time Locum Psychiatrist opportunity with an outpatient behavioral health program serving children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, including individuals with developmental disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider seeking a flexible, low-hour commitment while working with a diverse patient population.
Flexible schedule averaging 8–12 hours per month. Providers will conduct patient visits remotely, with a commitment to periodic onsite clinical days (such as monthly, every other month, or quarterly). Initial locum assignment is three months with the option to extend.
Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management
Treat patients ages 6 and older
See approximately 12–15 patients during scheduled clinical days
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
Opportunity to supervise an advanced practice provider for interested candidates
Active New York medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist
Medicare and Medicaid enrollment required
Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients, including individuals with developmental disabilities
