Part-Time Outpatient Child PMHNP in Long Beach, NY

Our facility is seeking an outpatient PMHNP to supply care in the surrounding areas of Long Beach, NY. 

Setting: Outpatient

Schedule:

Clinic is open M-F 9am-9pm

• Afternoon/evening hours definitely needed
• Provider can make their schedule within this range
• Flexible on 1 10 hour day, or split up between multiple days, etc.

Patient Population: Clinic sees all ages

• Starting to see a higher volume of C&A patients
• Youngest is 6
• Majority are adults, followed by Adolescents, followed by children (but again, this is increasing)

Hours Needed: up to 20 hours a week

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Main requirement is someone who has a few years (or more) experience with seeing children
• New grads are OKAY - the current psychiatrist is able to be a supervising physician
• Must be comfortable and okay with going on site - no telehealth flexibility at this time

Patients/Day: Depends

Med Checks: 1 hour, sometimes 90 mins for children

Evals: 15-30 minutes (at discretion of the provider)
