Permanent Full-Time In/Outpatient Medical Director in Oswego, NY

Our facility is seeking an in/outpatient psychiatrist and medical director to supply care in the surrounding areas of Oswego, NY. 

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm

INFO ABOUT OPENING:

• 50% clinical oversight, 50% administrative
• Physician will provide clinical oversight of psychiatrists, psych NP's, therapy staff, ACT team, etc
• Support Psychiatric consults for ED, ICU and Med/Surg as necessary
• Potentially add on a small panel of patients once acclimated (TBD)
• Collaborate with Executive Director to devleop and implement strategic initiatives, policies & procedures
• Complete necessary legal procedures for interventions

Patient Population: All ages

Hours: 40 hours

Assignment Type: Permanent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Board certified or board eligible
• Ideally looking for 5 years clinical experience in psychiatry (focus both inpatient and outpatient) and other leadership experience

Call Requirements: 

• 1:3 week day which is overnight Monday-Thursday, 1:3 weekend which starts at 5p Friday, ends at 7a Monday)
