Job Description

Position Overview

Psychiatrist opportunity with a community-based Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program serving adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Providers perform psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for individuals with complex behavioral health needs, including co-occurring substance use disorders. Full-time is preferred, though part-time schedules of 20+ hours per week are available, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Schedule & Location

Flexible 20-30+ hour weekday schedule with providers selecting the hours that best fit their availability. This is a hybridposition combining community-based care and telepsychiatry, with approximately two days spent in the field alongside the ACT team. A vehicle is provided for community visits.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary of $225,000 for a 30-hour schedule, with prorated compensation for reduced hours. Comprehensive benefits are available for providers working 30 or more hours per week. Locum opportunities are also available at $200-$210 per hour, with malpractice coverage provided.

Collaborative Environment

Work within a multidisciplinary ACT team that includes therapists, program leadership, employment specialists, and other behavioral health professionals. Providers travel with team members for community visits, ensuring a collaborative and safety-focused approach while delivering high-quality psychiatric care to adults with complex mental health needs.
