Permanent Full-Time In/Outpatient Psychiatrist in Aberdeen, SD

Our facility is seeking an in/outpatient psychiatrist to supply care in the surrounding areas of Aberdeen, SD. 

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Daily schedule would break down to:

-Morning rounds in inpatient unit

-Start Outpatient Clinic at 11AM

-Break for lunch

-Clinic in afternoon (1-5PM)

Assignment Type: Permanent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

-Board Eligible, have to become board certified within 5 years

Details: 

Hospital Beds – 13, soon expanding to 18

• Average census right now (before expansion) is 8
• 13 acute, 5 crisis

Patient Population-All ages

• Primarily adults 35-50
• Adolescent is mostly on emergency basis

Beds seen: Depends on volume

• Patients are split between the two psychiatrists
• Rotate 7 on inpatient, 7 on outpatient
