Locum Full-Time Inpatient Forensic Psychiatrist in Marcy, NY

Our facility is seeking an inpatient forensic psychiatrist to supply care in the surrounding areas of Marcy, NY. 

Setting: Adult Inpatient- Forensic

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8am- 4pm

Assignment Type: Locum Only

BC/BE REQUIREMENTS:

• One year minimum forensic experience (preferred).
• Completion of evaluations for Court Order Psychiatric Medications (COPM), including court testimony.
• Provider will have their own office with caseload and will write prescriptions or renew medication orders for continuity of care.
• Candidate needs to be self-sufficient in terms of tasks support staff would typically provide. Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Provide psychiatric response for emergent patient crises. Ability to maintain professional documentation within an electronic medical record.
