Full-time locum tenens Adult Psychiatrist opportunity in an outpatient forensic behavioral health setting serving a serious mental illness (SMI) population. The role includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and specialized forensic assessments.
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
40 hours per week
Approximately 10–12 patients per day
15–30 minutes for medication follow-ups
60 minutes for initial evaluations
No call
Assignment length is flexible, with potential for extension
$270–$280/hour all-inclusive, plus malpractice coverage. Alternative compensation structure may be available for candidates requiring travel and lodging.
You'll work in a fast-paced forensic setting with a multidisciplinary team and patients with significant behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include treatment within a structured program as well as evaluations related to competency and other forensic matters.
Board-certified in Adult Psychiatry through the ABPN with at least one year of forensic psychiatry experience. Candidates must be enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid and be comfortable working independently with standard clinical and administrative tasks.
